Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

Created by DTM Corporation, SLS offers competitive patterns through the sintering of different powder materials with a laser.

Living hinges and working assemblies are capable with SLS that may not be with other rapid prototyping methods. SLS prototypes are built with rugged materials that can withstand the wear and tear of functional testing. SLS is ideal for parts in nylon or glass filled nylon.

Accuracy is +/- .010" for the first inch, and .003" per inch afterwards.
