Urethane Molding

When you need multiple prototypes with properties similar to production materials, urethane molding is a great solution. By using urethane molding, TTH can bridge the gap between rapid prototyping and hard tooling at low cost and quick turnarounds of 1-2 weeks. Urethane tooling can be used in lieu of costly aluminum or steel tooling for practical, real use applications. Urethane parts offer superior performance and wear for on-the-job use. The combination of low cost, quick turnaround, and similar material properties makes urethane molding a great alternative for low volume production.

TTH utilizes a vast resource of urethane materials that can satisfy any need that you may have. Our team will be more than happy to assist you in finding the right material.

How the process works:

Create an SLA master pattern
Finish the pattern and establish a parting line
Pour silicone cavity and core around the master pattern
Remove the pattern and cast the urethane material
Repeat casting process for the desired quantity
