Direct Metal Laser Sintering (also known as DMLS and direct metal deposition) is a 3D printing/additive manufacturing  technology that produces metal prototype and production parts.  DMLS prints metal parts by sintering various metal and alloy particles together.People are turning to the Direct Metal Laser Sintering process can create complex and intricate geometries in a short amount of time when compared to traditional machining processes.  This 3D printing/additive manufacturing process produces parts with high accuracy and detail resolution, good surface quality, and excellent mechanical properties.

Because DMLS parts can often be made of the same metals as production components, including steel, aluminum, and titanium, these prototypes can be tested rigorously.
